Restaurante 'La Llave De La Costa' stands out as a gem on the coastal highway in Pijijiapan, Chiapas. This popular spot captures the essence of traditional Mexican cuisine with its diverse menu that caters to breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Customers rave about the Tampiquena and the refreshing Tascalate water, which are must-tries for anyone visiting. The restaurant's casual setting, enhanced by excellent ventilation, offers a refreshing escape despite the absence of air conditioning.
Reviewers consistently commend the attentive and friendly staff, who deliver prompt service, making dining here an enjoyable experience. The cleanliness of the facilities adds to the overall comfort, while generous portions ensure value for money. For travelers, the availability of parking and electronic billing for expenses is an added bonus.
In addition to its culinary delights, Restaurante 'La Llave De La Costa' is conveniently located just off the highway, making it a perfect stopping point for weary travelers. As someone who cherishes vibrant flavors and warm service, I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant—it's a true representation of the flavors and hospitality of Chiapas.

Magnificent restaurant on the side of the road and at the access to Pijijiapan. Recommended to rest and eat when traveling here. It does not have air conditioning, but it is well ventilated. The staff is super diligent, attentive and fast. The delicious dishes. Tampiquena and Tascalate water are recommended. For snacking, the cut is delicious!

It's "El Restaurante" (The Restaurant) by tradition and service of the municipality of Pijijiapan. If you're traveling by road, it's the best option because it's located on the side of the coastal highway. It offers a varied menu, including breakfast, lunch, and snacks (since it closes between 6:00 and 7:00 PM). In my experience, the service is quite good, the bathrooms are clean, and they also offer additional items for sale (chips, cookies, soft drinks, and bread rolls), which is a good option to take with you if you're still traveling. They accept cash and bank transfers, which can help you out if you don't have cash at the time but are looking to pay by card, since they don't currently have a terminal. The food is tasty and well-seasoned, the portions are generous, and they offer a good variety. As for parking, they have their own parking spaces in front of the restaurant, just beyond the highway. The staff is also attentive and friendly. Highly recommended. Finally, I'd like to mention that they also offer electronic billing, so if you need to prove your expenses, this is a reliable restaurant.

Excellent service from the employees, who are also very cordial in their treatment...and to complete the well-seasoned meal, the appetizers and traditional cuisine dishes. The menu is varied.
